Alma College graduate and Michigan native, Cyrus Zerbe, has quickly made his impact on the Seattle music scene. Since relocating, Cyrus has dived into what the city has to offer. In addition to establishing himself as a go to studio and session player, Cyrus plays in numerous highly acclaimed groups, including the award winning Brian James and the Great Unknown and rising alt-rock group Monitor,
Performing their top rated album, Journey of a Thousand Miles and new single “Brand New“, Cyrus and his group, Brian James and the Great Unknown, have begun their rise in the Pacific Northwest. 2021 also brings along Cyrus’ and Monitor‘s Sophomore album, Morning Song, recently recorded at the highly acclaimed Earwig Studios in Seattle, WA. The band has seen recent success including reaching its one millionth stream on its top hit “Memorand”, which has had huge success both locally and internationally.
In addition to his two main projects, Cyrus has proven himself as a multidimensional artist by providing studio and session work for multiple groups spanning a vast set of genres including the Raphael Tranquilino Band (Blues), Space Owl (Jam Band/Improvisational), DB Stewart (Experimental Rock), and Damon Medek (Punk/Pop).
While constantly growing and developing his knowledge and understanding of music, music production, music booking, and music performance, he actively strives to help others with his musical services and in their own personal growth. With over 20 years of percussion and musical experience, Cyrus will help you in whatever musical realm you need!
